The release of Forbidden Sanctum expansion was marked by one of the key changes for players – Divine Orbs in 3.19 are now required for crafting meta-mods.
According to the developers themselves, Grinding Gear Studios, this was justified by their own vision of Divine Orbs as a more valuable currency than Exalted Orbs. And even looking at the name of these currencies, it becomes obvious that the Divine Orb sounds higher in level than the Exalted orb.
However, if earlier it was possible to farm divines simply by selling six link items to merchants, now this possibility has been removed – and instead of a sparkling Divine, players receive 20 Orbs of Fusing.
That is why most people have a natural question – how to get Divine Orb in PoE? Let’s figure out how to farm this currency together.
Divine Orb in Forbidden Sanctum – how to get?
What we have at the moment: the Divine Orb recipe was removed from the game by the developers, and due to crafting changes, Divine Orb in Forbidden Sanctum has become the main valuable currency. How to farm her?
To answer this question, we directly go to our Divine Orb farming guide – to answer how to get Divine Orbs in PoE as concisely as possible.
- Tujen, the Haggler
One of the easiest and most effective ways to farm Divine Orbs is to trade with Tujen. Expeditions have not lost their relevance in this regard, so if you devote enough time to this method of farming, you can make quite good money.
Of all the participants of the Expedition, only in the assortment of Tujen you can find Divine Orbs. In order for the treasured currency to appear in his inventory, you just need to refresh his trade offers until you see Divine Orb. This is done with the help of Tujen’s special currency – Exotic Coinage. Now all you have to do is farm enough of the exchangeable currency called Black Scythe Artifact.
In order to farm most effectively, you will also need to take some nodes associated with the Expedition on the Atlas passive tree. It is always profitable to take Expedition nodes in Atlas – the biggest advantage of this type of farm is that you can farm not only targeted divine orbs, but also much more. Also, it will be possible to regularly exchange many different currencies at Tujen, as you can endlessly reroll his assortment.
- Villa Map
The Villa is a yellow tier 9 map that is a giant mansion, two parts of which are connected by a garden. At the end, the player fights on the balcony with the boss, which is the first form of High Templar Dominus.
What is interesting about this map? The boss of this map drops The Sephirot divination card. For 11 collected cards of this type, you can get 10 Divine Orbs.
Of course, the farming of this card itself is not particularly interesting – and it will be hard to sustain it. However, this is one of the few ways in which you can farm Divine Orbs almost directly.
In addition, you can run this map fairly quickly, and the boss is not particularly dangerous. Therefore, it is a good option to combine with other farming methods.
- Heist
Heist is one of the rather controversial mechanics of farming a variety of gear and currency. A lot of players strongly dislike Heist for its monotony, as well as for the doors hated by everyone (which constantly slow down the pace, which prevents fast passage).
However, Heist has always been one of Path of Exile’s best places to farm currency, and in this case, this is no exception.
As many have probably guessed, we will talk about a special item – Thief’s Trinket. There are two types of mods that can help with farming Divine Orbs – “1% chance in Heists for Chaos Orbs to drop as Divine Orbs instead” and “x% chance in Heists for Regal Orbs to drop as Divine Orbs instead”, where X can vary from 2 to 4. The second one was introduced recently – as soon as Divines took over the dominant position.
However, Regal Orbs are not seen often enough for the second trinket to be as relevant as the developers expect it to be. However, if you’re lucky enough to just knock it out yourself – why not.
Therefore, considering how often Chaos Orbs drop from chests, it would be more appropriate to use the exact trinket that replaces them with Divines, despite the fact that the chance is 1%.
You can only get Thief’s Trinket in two locations – Underbelly and Smuggler’s Den, both are Blueprints. It drops as a reward from the Curio Display.
But this type of farming is good precisely because you can do everything without additional items – just good contracts, especially Grand Heist, are enough to loot a couple of juicy currency chests.
These were the 3 main and easiest ways to farm Divine Orbs.
Of course, it is worth mentioning the farm of monsters with the Solaris-touched mod – you can very often get a good drop of currency from them, including Divine Orbs. But in order to get the maximum benefit from such mobs, you need the right build. You can even occasionally meet people who provide such services – farm your Solaris-touched mobs with their characters (usually these are characters for the MF party). Unfortunately, the chance to meet such mobs is extremely small, besides it’s up to you to juice this map to get valuable drop.
However, due to the fact that GGG lowered the drop rate of all items, farming is now somewhat more difficult than before. Even the Divine Orb price tells us that it drops extremely rarely. And it is not known whether it makes sense to wait for the Divine Orb increase drop rate from GGG.
Of course, you don’t need to focus on targeting and just farm whatever is profitable – it can be a smaller currency like Chaoses, or divination cards, and much more.
The key here is to wisely combine different types of farm in order to get the most out of each of them. If you are looking for an easier way to get currency in-game, check out games2nguoi.com for more articles on Path of Exile farming tips and tricks.
